Ages 13+ Only
You must be at least 13 years old to use ChatSpot. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we may restrict or remove the account and associated information. Do not help anyone evade the age requirement.
Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
- Never create, post, request, stream, link to, possess, distribute, or threaten to distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including sexualized depictions of anyone under 18.
- No grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexual solicitation of a minor, predatory conduct, or attempts to move a minor into secret or sexual conversations.
- Do not ask a minor for intimate images, sexual acts, personal contact details, money, secrecy, or an off-platform meeting.
- Adults must keep all interactions with minors appropriate and non-sexual. Claiming that a minor consented is never an excuse.
No Pornography or Sexualized Content
Do not post, request, stream, link to, or share nudity, pornography, explicit sexual images, sexual services, or graphic sexual content. These rules apply to public rooms, private messages, profiles, calls, media uploads, usernames, and off-site links shared through ChatSpot.
Respect Other Members
- No harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, or intimidation.
- No hate speech, slurs, or attacks based on identity, race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or nationality.
- No unwanted sexual comments, pressure, or repeated messages after someone says no or stops responding.
No Illegal or Dangerous Activity
Do not use ChatSpot to discuss, arrange, promote, or facilitate illegal activity, exploitation, trafficking, abuse, self-harm encouragement, weapon sales, drug sales, fraud, or violence.
Protect Privacy
- Do not post another person's private information without permission.
- Do not share screenshots, private messages, photos, or contact details from other members without consent.
- Do not impersonate another person, brand, moderator, or ChatSpot staff member.
Keep Chat Rooms Usable
- No spam, flooding, scams, phishing, malicious links, or repeated promotional posts.
- Stay reasonably on topic in rooms that have a clear subject.
- Keep room names, display names, profile content, and public conversations appropriate for a community that includes teenagers.
Report Child-Safety Concerns—Do Not Reshare
- Use the report control or contact ChatSpot staff immediately when you see grooming, suspected CSAM, exploitation, or threats involving a minor.
- Do not download, screenshot, save, forward, or repost suspected CSAM to prove a report. Report the account, message, room, or link instead.
- You may also report suspected online child exploitation to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Strict Moderation and Enforcement
Moderators may review reports, remove content, preserve relevant records, restrict features, mute users, close rooms, or suspend and permanently ban accounts. Suspected child exploitation may be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and law enforcement as required by law. ChatSpot may act without prior notice when needed to protect a child or the community.
